Drum Roll please...

I am so pleased to have settled on a name but.. at the same time I desperately want feedback!! I want to know what it makes you think.. what you think of it.. what idea or impression it gives you. etc.

Again my core goals for the new name was to have something -

arty - something that made you think it was more than a SNAP and print..and hopefully something that conveys what i do.
creative - something that wasnt Lanne Beattie photography (i know SO many people do this.. and if you name is cool (e.g. tara Whitney or jessica claire then GREAT) but my name sounds dull..LOL
Something easy to say, remember and type - i didnt want potential spelling errors or other issues.
and I had to be able to buy the .com.au. and.. I have bought the .com.au.. it is now officially mine.

So.. without further ado..(and on the promise that you will comment or email me..LOL)

The new name comes from something I have read before - and read yesterday -
photography is the art of painting with light. (i need to find out who originally said that). Light is so important my sessions. I find myself going on and on about it when booking clients etc...

So the new name is - painted with light.

or paintedwithlight.com.au -

the logo will have painted with light in larger letters on one row (century gothic) and .. photography and digital art as a tag line. Probably in snowshoe.

So come one come all.. and offer some feedback..even the lurkers...hehe.

Oh good - i really like it - i thought it might suck and i'd have to pretend to like it but i really do! :)

it gives an immediate mental image which is perfect. the use of the word "painted" will tend to associate your pics with "art" rather than just "happy snaps"

"light" makes me think of a nice warm glowing chiarscuro style or something but also makes me think of "light" as in easy/ breezy/weightless

good choice!
